ELPA Analysis Editorial Deep Dive

The chatbox is a clumsy interface for complex work. Expecting users to write perfect prompts is a temporary compromise. The next wave of design focus is on agentic interfaces: software that observes workflow context and acts autonomously.

Instead of forcing users to copy-paste data and ask questions, modern agentic systems run in the background. They monitor codebase changes, cross-reference calendar events, and build drafts, presenting only the final results for review.

The UI of the future is dynamic and invisible. It only appears when human intervention or verification is required, shifting the user's role from manual worker to supervisor of automated pipelines.
